Sun Damage

Derma Medica

We all love a holiday in the sunshine, and whilst getting a boost of vitamin D is good for us, exposure to UV light from the sun can cause premature ageing and damage our skin.

Sun Damage

About this condition

Sun damage can occur at any age, resulting in sunspots, dark patches, uneven skin tone and pigmentation and contribute towards the early development of crepey skin, fine lines and wrinkles and in more severe cases melanoma. Because they are exposed to the sun most often, the face, neck, d├ęcolletage and hands are most susceptible to sun damage but it can occur anywhere on the body.

We offer a range of treatment options for sun damage to help rejuvenate the skin, reduce pigmentation and smooth out crepey skin and lines and wrinkles. These may include Hydrafacial, Venus Versa, LED phototherapy, Dermalux, AQ GFIT, Medical Grade Skincare as well as other skin rejuvenation treatments. All recommendations will be made according to your individual condition and discussed with you in detail at your consultation.
